Initially constructed in 1859 as the Tubular Bridge, the superstructure was replaced in 1898 to create the Jubilee Bridge which is still in operation for road and rail traffic. The St.-Lambert Diversion was added in the 1960’s as part of the St. Lawrence Seaway project.
